2. Scope of this policy
This policy applies to antecedo.org and its subpages. It does not apply to any third-party website that may be linked from this site. This website is provided for general information purposes only; it does not offer paid services, and no financial transactions are processed on this site.
3. Data we collect
| Category | Examples | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Contact form data | Name, email address, phone number (optional), subject and message content | Provided directly by you |
| Technical data | IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, general location derived from IP | Collected automatically when you browse the site |

We do not knowingly collect financial account numbers, payment card details, or government identification numbers through this website, and we ask that you do not include such information in the contact form.
4. Purposes and legal basis
- Responding to enquiries — to answer questions submitted through the contact form (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR, depending on context).
- Operating and securing the website — to keep the site functional, measure basic technical performance, and prevent misuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest).
- Complying with legal obligations — where retention or disclosure is required by German or EU law (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not sell personal data to third parties.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
This website uses a limited number of cookies to remember your cookie preference and support basic site functionality. Details of the individual cookies used, their purpose and duration are set out in our dedicated Cookie Policy. Non-essential cookies are only set with your consent, given through the cookie banner shown on your first visit.
6. Third-party services
To operate the site, certain resources are loaded from third-party providers, which may process technical data such as your IP address when your browser requests them:
- Google Fonts (Google Ireland Limited) — used to display the site's typography.
- Phosphor Icons / unpkg CDN — used to display icons throughout the site.
- OpenStreetMap — used to display the map on our Contact page.
We select providers that are widely used for this purpose and do not share contact form content with them. If you would prefer not to load third-party resources, you may use browser extensions or settings that block such requests; this does not prevent you from reading the content of this site.
7. Data retention
Contact form submissions are retained only for as long as necessary to handle the relevant enquiry and any follow-up correspondence, after which they are deleted or anonymised, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Cookie consent preferences are retained in your browser until you clear your browser storage or withdraw consent.
8. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information you submit to us.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you;
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- Request erasure of your data, where applicable;
- Request restriction of processing, or object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- Request portability of data you have provided to us;
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent, without affecting prior processing;
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the German federal state in which you reside, work, or where the alleged infringement occurred.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in Section 1.
10. Children's privacy
This website is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
